Ankita Lokhande Speaks On BF Vicky Jain Being Called As The 'Worst' Post Sushant Singh Rajput's Demise; Says 'SSR Would Have Been The First One To Call Out This Behaviour'

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were reportedly in a relationship for six long years before parting ways. Post the demise of the Kai Po Che actor, it was Ankita who stood by Sushant's family like a rock. She often made social media posts demanding for justice. Now, in her recent interview, the Manikarnika actress opened up on several things. From being targeted by trolls for not posting anything immediately after Sushant's demise to their breakup. She even spoke about how her current boyfriend Vicky Jain was touted as the worst.

In her interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ankita Lokhande while talking about how her relationship was talked about post Sushant's demise, was quoted saying, “We (Sushant and Ankita) suddenly became the perfect couple, while Vicky (her boyfriend Vicky Jain) was touted as the worst. I really want to ask people if that was the case, where were you when we broke up? Why didn’t you let him know how good I am for him back then?"

Talking about receiving backlash from netizens, Ankita said, "Although I don’t get bothered too much, it does hurt when you start targeting my family. There is a point when I felt like who has given these people the right to even talk to me like that. If Sushant was around, he would have been the first person to call out this behaviour."


Ankita and Sushant Singh Rajput shared screen space in Ekta Kapoor's Pavitra Rishta and fell in love with each other. Though they had plans to settle in matrimony, destiny had something else on cards.
